Getting a good performance from designated hitter Er Hsiao, the Vancouver Wolves defeated the Tucson Toros, 5-3. Hsiao went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Wolves. Hogai Yasuda snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-0 on the season. Vismay Falcon suffered the loss. The win has Vancouver at 10-23.

Najib Tawfiq, who is tied for 6th in the WC in doubles with 10, helped out the Vancouver cause in the top of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the center fielder was 1 for 5.
