Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Buffalo Rangers got the win.

Buffalo Rangers starter Santiago Ontiveros found his groove in his team's 3-2 win over the Baltimore Kings. Johnny Wickwire notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now sits at 5-0. Getting the save was Abel Downey, his 3rd.

Manny Estrada drove in one run for Buffalo. The 24-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Adrian Portuondo. It was his 6th RBI of the season.

"Every loss hurts," said Baltimore manager Brad Carpenter. "But this was a tough one."

The win brings the Rangers to 18-14, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.
