Dragons Suffer 4-2 Road Loss
Alaska right-hander Will Spangenberg pitched his team to victory over the Portland Dragons at Tundradome. The final score was 4-2. With their winning streak at 4, the Kodiaks have raced to a strong start this season.

The Kodiaks got a big at-bat from third baseman Gabe Castro. For the game, Castro was 2-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave Alaska a 2-1 lead.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Alaska manager Alex King.
