Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Denver Glaciers and Miami Cyclones.

Denver Glaciers starter Raul Garibaldi hurled his team past the Miami Cyclones, 4-2. Garibaldi yielded 1 run over 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 1, and struck out 4. His record improves to 2-4. Joe Mort sewed up the save, his 2nd.

With two out in the top of the first, Alex Guilzar put Denver in front, 1-0, with a run-scoring single. The Glaciers went on to win the ballgame.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Glaciers manager Todd Bleess. "This one was nice to get."

The win brings the Glaciers to 12-19, an inauspicious start for a team that made the playoffs last season.
