The Tucson Toros defeated the San Francisco Friars by the score of 13-8. Kenzaburo Nagai starred for Tucson, going 4-for-5 with 2 home runs. Tucson is now 12-19.

R.J. Dougherty had a big bases-clearing double for the Toros in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Tucson leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Mike McClure and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Toros ahead, 5-1.

"If you were looking for a pitchers' duel," said Nagai, "this wasn't it."
