The Minneapolis Vikings had to reckon with San Antonio Angels hurler Ron Trevathan. Trevathan, who led the WC in ERA with 1.97 in 2074, overwhelmed the opposition in the 8-1 Angels triumph. San Antonio has a mark of 10-22 after the win.

Dave Yerges came through with a big-time hit for San Antonio. The pinch hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 4-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We were able to put some runs on the board," said Yerges after the game.
