Vancouver Rallies to 9-5 Win
The Vancouver Wolves withstood an impressive performance by Tucson third baseman Donner Munro to defeat the Toros, 9-5, at Aetna Stadium. Munro went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Picking up his 1st save was 30-year old right-handed pitcher Hogai Yasuda. Despite the win, Vancouver, now 8-23, is off to a terrible start.

Vancouver needed the clutch hitting of Er Hsiao to seal the deal. The first baseman swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Wolves on top, 6-5. For the game, Hsiao had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We're all smiles after that win," Hsiao told the Vancouver Bulletin.
