5-Hit Barrage by Handa
Hillsboro Ensigns first baseman Subaru Handa had a day to remember at Ensigns Ballpark, ripping apart the Aguascalientes Abejas and sparking the 2-1 Ensigns win.

Handa wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-5.

"I'm usually a first ball hitter," Handa told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it."

Subaru Handa singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
