The Havana Metropolitanos picked up a win at Estadio Latinoamericano, dropping the Cincinnati Twins, 7-3. Huggy Bruce, who finished 4th in the EC in ERA with 3.00 in 2071, was the difference-maker. The winning pitcher was Bruce, now 3-1. He tossed 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 5. Cincinnati falls to 21-10.

Jonny Mavros had a big 2-run double for the Metropolitanos in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Havana leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Josh Adamczyk, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2071 draft, and swatted a double to left. It was his 8th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Metropolitanos ahead, 3-0.

"My job is to go out and execute," said Bruce.
