The San Antonio Angels topped the Minneapolis Vikings, 6-4, in Western Conference action at Minneapolis Grounds. The game was highlighted by the performance of San Antonio center fielder Pedro Parra. The winning pitcher was Ron Trevathan. He's now 3-2. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits for the Angels. San Antonio, now 18-12, has gotten their season off to a good start.

With San Antonio leading 3-0 in the top of the second, Parra hit a changeup from Austin Prowse for a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Angels ahead, 6-0.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Parra.
