A 4-RBI performance from the 24-year old first baseman Frank Lung helped the Houston Aquas beat the Chicago Phantoms, 7-5. Axel Mendiola got credit for the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed 3 runs on 5 hits in 6 innings. The save was credited to Jose Garces, his 4th.

Houston used a well-timed hit by Craig Lightsey to capture the win. The third baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Aquas ahead, 7-2. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Lightsey told the Houston Herald.

The Aquas, now 19-10, have been playing some good baseball.
