With 2-1 Win, Titans Go to 19-11
|
Pitcher Luis Erazo was rock solid in helping the New York Titans beat the Washington Senators, 2-1. Ray Menk locked down his 6th save. The win puts New York at 19-11.
The Titans got a big at-bat from first baseman Kamakana Aniani. For the game, Aniani went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave New York a 2-0 lead.
"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said New York manager Nate Beckman.
