The Los Angeles Stars marched over the Vancouver Wolves, 12-3, at Fox-Chong Park. Manny Sagastisado, who is tied for 10th in the WC in bases on balls with 15, led the charge. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Los Angeles pitcher Rin Sakai earned the win, hiking his record to 1-3. Pat Felber suffered the loss. Vancouver, now 7-23, continues its tough start.

With Los Angeles leading 6-0 in the top of the second, Sagastisado came up to bat against Vancouver pitcher Pat Felber. Sagastisado hit a fastball to left-center for a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Stars on top, 9-0.

"We maximized our offense today," said Los Angeles skipper Pat Kaers. "That makes everyone's life easier."
