Philadelphia Gets 6-4 Win
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Philadelphia Spectres and Toronto Juggernauts.
The Philadelphia Spectres downed the Toronto Juggernauts, 6-4. The hitting star was right fielder Lucas Pamatz. Pamatz was 2 for 4 with a triple and a walk. He drove in 3 runs for the Spectres. The winner was Uno Urquidez, who threw 93 pitches over 5 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 5 hits.
With Philadelphia trailing 2-1 in the top of the fourth, Pamatz hit a fastball from Gigi Cuzzocrea for a bases-clearing triple. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Spectres ahead, 4-2.
Philadelphia manager Ryan Huff was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard, they played all the way through," he said.
The Spectres, now 9-18, have not found much traction so far in 2079.
