Toledo's Galitz Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits
|
Ron Galitz was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Elephants Ballpark, the Toledo right fielder blistered the Plano Elephants for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a good 11-3 victory.
"Galitz was too tough to get out," Elephants skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
Ron Galitz singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Tony Vazquez in the 4th, walked in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
