Destroyers Suffer 3-1 Loss to Los Angeles

Los Angeles rode a good effort from starter Cursive DeMarco to beat the San Diego Destroyers at Stars Ballpark. The final score was 3-1. DeMarco went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 0, and struck out 7. His record improves to 1-0. Los Angeles goes to 16-13.
Victor Abascal went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI against the Destroyers. In the bottom of the first inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run, putting Los Angeles in front, 1-0.
