The San Diego Destroyers picked up a win at Seaward Stadium, topping the Denver Glaciers, 7-4. On the mound for San Diego was right-hander Matt Rook. He played a principal role in the triumph. The win gives San Diego a record of 17-11.

San Diego took a 7-4 lead on Ryan Kenney's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Kenney hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Denver pitcher Victor Meierhold visibly frustrated.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Kenney told the San Diego Herald.
