The San Francisco Friars beat the Las Vegas Aces, 3-0, at Staples Field. San Francisco left fielder Chris Neri collected 3 singles and 1 double with 2 RBI. Marco Flores came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now stands at 4-0. Picking up his 8th save was 30-year old right-handed pitcher Mike Pechtel.

There was more than one reason the Friars beat the Aces, but Neri's big at-bat in the bottom of the second was an important factor. He staked his team to a 2-0 lead when he hit a 2-run single.

San Francisco manager Jeremy Cooan called it "a good, solid win."
