The Los Angeles Stars handed the Minneapolis Vikings a sound defeat, 12-2, at Minneapolis Grounds. Lyndon Lance, who is tied for 9th in the WC in home runs with 7, was a main contributor to the win. He went 1 for 2 with a home run, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for Los Angeles. The winning pitcher was 24-year old right-handed pitcher Corey LaCognata.
