The Tucson Toros earned a win at Aetna Stadium, knocking off the Kansas City Athletics, 6-2. On the bump for Tucson was right-hander Taxi Sabala. He had a starring role in the triumph. Adam Mimnaugh was credited with the save for Tucson, his 6th of the season. The Athletics are now 10-17.

The Toros got a big at-bat from third baseman Yozo Mori. For the game, Mori went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Tucson a 2-0 lead.

"We had a good game plan," Sabala said, "and we were able to execute it."
