The Miami Cyclones got a strong performance from pitcher Roberto Davila. Griz stymied the Boston offense en route to a solid, 6-2 win at Kroger Stadium. The Cyclones raised their record to 14-12.
Anaximander McKay chipped in for Miami, stroking a crucial run-scoring double in the bottom of the eighth inning. For the game, the second baseman was 1 for 4 with a double.
"The name on the front of this uniform is all that matters to me," McKay told the Miami Citizen. "And padding the Miami win column."
