Destroyers Stumble, Lose to Arrows
The Seattle Arrows knocked off the San Diego Destroyers, 8-3, in Western Conference action at Power Ballpark. Seattle pitcher and OHara Township, Pennsylvania, native Honey Geier had an outstanding performance. Seattle, with the win, is 2-1.

Ray Farr had a big 3-run home run for the Arrows in the bottom of the first inning. With Seattle leading 3-1 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he sized up a fastball from former first round draft pick Matt Rook and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Arrows on top, 6-1.

Farr told a Seattle Daily reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
