Tamulevich Delivers 2-0 Win
|
In a low-scoring affair between New York Titans and the St. Louis Gaedels, pitcher Nick Tamulevich was the difference-maker. The New York left-hander handcuffed the opposition, to help his team pocket a 2-0 win. St. Louis drops to 16-10.
It was an impressive turn from the legendarily hard-working Tamulevich, who tallied 9 strikeouts in 6 innings while allowing just 2 hits. Tamulevich, who leads the EC with a 0.71 WHIP, goes to 6-0 on the year with 48 strikeouts.
"Got a lot of swings and misses today," said Tamulevich.
