Pagac Helps Vikings Beat Athletics, 9-0
Minneapolis designated hitter Paul Pagac contributed significantly to his team's 9-0 win over the Kansas City Athletics. Pagac, who finished 2nd in the EC in doubles with 54 in 2073, went 3 for 4 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Vikings. The loss puts Kansas City at 12-13.

With Minneapolis leading 2-0 in the top of the fifth, Pagac hit a curveball from Gerald Tanton for a 2-run triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Vikings ahead, 4-0.

"I really like what we did out there today," Pagac said after the game.
