Guest Spectres Win, 6-4, at Toronto
|
The Philadelphia Spectres grabbed a win, 6-4, over the Toronto Juggernauts at Molson Park. Philadelphia designated hitter Adam Stokes went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Fidel Flores was credited with the save for Philadelphia, his 6th of the season. Toronto is 10-15 after the loss.
With Philadelphia leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Stokes hit a changeup from Danford Brier for a 3-run home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Spectres ahead, 4-0.
"That's what makes it fun -- everybody's jacked up because of the way we've been winning," said Philadelphia manager Ryan Huff.
