Boston Hot Streak Continues with 7-6 Win
|
The Boston Greens defeated the Montreal Harfangs, 7-6, at Arrington Park. Boston second baseman Greg Wozniak had a superb performance. He was 4 for 5 with 4 singles, while scoring 2 times. Steve McFarlen earned the win to go to 3-0. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, with 1 walk and 4 strikeouts in 8 innings of work. Boston goes to 15-8 with the win.
Paul Pagac had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the eighth for Boston. With the bases loaded and the Greens leading 6-1, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Pagac told the Boston Observer.
