The Havana Metropolitanos got a superb performance from pitcher Nate McFry, but the Portland (E) Lobster still won the game, 5-4. McFry threw 5.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Reliever Edwin Contreras picked up the win. His record improves to 2-1. Dave Quintero, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2077 draft, took the loss. Havana, at 6-18, is off to a poor start in 2078.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Richard Lahoz? The 27-year old first baseman Lahoz stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put Portland (E) up, 5-4. For the game, he was 4 for 5, including 1 double and 3 singles.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Lahoz.
