Browns Grind Out 2-0 Win
|
The Brooklyn Browns, behind a great outing from Keaton Bozek, who is tied for 7th in the EC in innings pitched with 32.2, defeated the Montreal Harfangs, 2-0, at Brown Town. Montreal is now 11-12.
The Browns got a big at-bat from right fielder Joost Buisman. For the game, Buisman was 1-4 with a double. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 2nd double of the season gave Brooklyn a 1-0 lead.
"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Brooklyn manager Jason Cormier.
