The Denver Glaciers downed the Portland Dragons, 12-5, at Portland Park. Ramon Chirino led the way, going 4-for-4 for Denver. The Glaciers, with just their 7th win in 23 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.

Denver won the game in part because of Chris Eighmy. The first baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Glaciers ahead, 5-2. For the game, Eighmy had 1 double and 1 home run in 6 at-bats.
