The Portland Dragons met little resistance from the Denver Glaciers, beating them, 11-3, at Portland Park. Felix Sanchez led the way. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for Portland. With the loss, Denver falls to 6-16.

With Portland leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Sanchez hit a fastball from Raul Garibaldi for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Dragons ahead, 4-0.

"I thought we competed really well," said Dragons manager Greg Carpenter. "I thought the energy was really good."
