Glaciers Rally For Late Win Over Destroyers
Powered by Ricardo Puente, the Denver Glaciers downed the San Diego Destroyers, 5-3. Puente went 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Glaciers. The triumph makes Denver 13-9, as the team begins another long trek toward the playoffs in 2080.

Puente had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a first pitch changeup from Julio Olivo, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Glaciers a 5-3 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Puente.

"We did enough to win," said Puente.
