Sasson Dazzles in 6-0 Alaska Win
|
Alaska Kodiaks starter Travis Sasson was in midseason form, as he helped his team beat the San Diego Destroyers, 6-0. With the win, Alaska boosts its record to 10-12.
It was an impressive outing from the soft-spoken Sasson, who tallied 7 strikeouts in 6.2 innings and allowed only no hits. Sasson raised his record to 2-2 on the year with 22 strikeouts.
"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said San Diego manager Steve Alstadt.
