Vikings Take Home 4-2 Win Over Tucson
|
The Minneapolis Vikings and Tucson Toros played an exciting game.
Tucson left fielder Nagateru Imada had a good game, even if his team did not. The Toros dropped a 4-2 decision to Minneapolis at Minneapolis Grounds. Imada went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times. With the loss, Tucson is 8-13.
The Vikings got a big at-bat from shortstop Chris Goudie. For the game, Goudie was 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Minneapolis a 3-1 lead.
Minneapolis manager Ace Cooan was pleased with the team's effort. "It was just a good, gutsy performance by everybody," he said.
