Havana starter Mike Woolfrey put a stranglehold on the Portland (E) offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Metropolitanos to a 2-1 win. The Lobster are now 8-13 this season.

Havana used a well-timed hit by Xadreque Esperana to capture the win. The right fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Metropolitanos ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Esperana.
