The Havana Metropolitanos converted a terrific effort from starter Luis Casillas into a win over the Buffalo Rangers at Bison Stadium. The Metropolitanos won the game by a final score of 3-2. Josh Trejo nailed down his 7th save. The defeat makes Buffalo 12-8.
Loo Xiu had a direct impact on the outcome. Xiu contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put Havana up, 3-0.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Buffalo manager Alex Beckman.
