Senators Take Down Juggernauts, 5-4
|
Molson Park was the site of a competitive game between the Toronto Juggernauts and Washington Senators.
The Washington Senators topped the Toronto Juggernauts, 5-4, in Eastern Conference action at Molson Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Washington first baseman Dong-moon Chung. The save went to Keung King, number 2 for him.
Chung had a timely hit for Washington in the top of the ninth. With Washington trailing 4-3, he turned a 3-1 splitter into a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season, making it 5-4, Washington.
"This team is on a mission," said Chung, who is one of the clubhouse leaders. "I like our focus."
The Senators, now 2-1, have been playing some good baseball.
