Montreal starter Manny Medina put a stranglehold on the Boston offense. The right-hander had complete command of his splitter in leading the Harfangs to a 5-1 win. Medina yielded 1 run over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. His record improves to 3-1. The Greens fall to 8-11 and continue their wobbly start to the 2079 season.

Rich Bice had a big bases-clearing double for the Harfangs in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Montreal leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a sinker from Steve McFarlen and swatted a double to left. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Harfangs ahead, 4-0.

Bice called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
