Arrows Tuck Away 7-5 Win Over Denver
|
Ricky Zika, who is tied for 10th in the WC in bases on balls with 12, propelled his team to victory over the Denver Glaciers. The final score was 7-5, Seattle. The save went to Aaron Narduzzi, number 3 for him. The loss puts Denver at 14-6.
Seattle took a 7-5 lead on Danny Grandgeorge's 4th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Grandgeorge hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Denver pitcher Jeremy Lanham visibly frustrated.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Grandgeorge. "And not try to do too much."
