The Las Vegas Aces got a magnificent performance from pitcher Arturo Covarrubias, who muffled the Minneapolis offense en route to a tight, 3-1 Aces win at Minneapolis Grounds. Jason Mouland recorded the save, his 3rd. The setback makes the Vikings 7-11.

Orandy Noda, who is tied for 8th in the WC in triples with 1, had a direct impact on the outcome. Noda contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Las Vegas up, 3-1.

"Arturo did a good job of shutting their lineup down," said Las Vegas manager Justin Coroian.
