Spectres Use Late Score to Top Juggernauts, 4-3
|
The Philadelphia Spectres had to overcome a fine effort from Toronto pitcher Ferrie Franssen to win, 4-3, at Sony Field at Philadelphia. Franssen went 6 innings and allowed no runs. The loss has the Juggernauts at 7-11.
The decisive blow was delivered by Lucas Pamatz in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run double off 37-year old right-handed pitcher Willie Carrasco to win the game for Philadelphia. The home crowd went nuts.
"This ballpark was lit," Pamatz said.
