Sakai Deals Minneapolis 7-1 Setback
The Minneapolis Vikings had to reckon with Los Angeles Stars hurler Rin Sakai. Sakai, who finished 2nd in the WC in wins with 15 in 2075, overwhelmed the opposition in the 7-1 Stars triumph. The win has Los Angeles at 13-6.

Sakai, the winning pitcher, goes to 3-0 on the season. In 8 innings, the left-hander limited the opposition to 1 run on 3 hits, while recording 8 punchouts. Sakai and the Stars were able to cruise to victory.

"Rin was exceptional and he pitched with a purpose," said Los Angeles manager Pat Kaers.
