Big Day for Cannon as Dragons Down Cyclones, 10-5
|
Portland third baseman Ed Cannon had 5 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Miami Cyclones, 10-5. The Dragons, with only their 4th win in 19 games, have not had much to write home about in 2079.
The game turned with two out in the top of the fourth. That's when Cannon hit a grand slam home run off Bobby Edwards. It propelled the Dragons into the lead, 4-0.
"Nice win for us," said Cannon. "Now we'll go after the next one."
