Mar Goes on Rampage Against Riversharks
It was a sensational day at the plate for San-pao Mar as he led the charge to a nifty 11-2 win over the Riversharks. The Anchorage right fielder was pure misery for the Wichita pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.

"Mar put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said , manager for the Riversharks, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."

San-pao Mar struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Conrad Wit in the 9th.

This season, Mar is batting .267 with 59 hits, 8 home runs, 30 RBIs, .339 OBP and has scored 22 runs.
