There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day.

Marco Etchart is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-6 against the Norfolk Thorns at Spinners Ballpark today. The monster effort from the 25-year-old first baseman helped the Riverside Spinners take the win, 13-0.

"We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Thorns manager . "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today."

Marco Etchart hit an RBI single in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Jose Garibay in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Ramon Moreno in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.

This season Etchart is hitting .272 with 107 hits, 10 home runs, 57 RBIs, scored 57 runs and played in 105 games.
