Zamora Now 1-0 After Beating Juggernauts
|
Washington pitcher Alberto Zamora did his part in helping his team beat the Toronto Juggernauts, 3-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Keung King picked up the save for Washington, his 1st of the year. Toronto falls to 1-1.
Zamora scattered 7 hits over 8 innings for the Senators. With the win, Zamora goes to 1-0 on the year with 7 strikeouts.
"Alberto did a good job of managing their lineup," said Washington manager Josh Cooan.
