Arrows Get Dramatic 7-5 Win
|
Seattle starter Ricky Zika pitched well against the Chicago Phantoms at Power Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a win, 7-5, in 14 innings. Danny Santistevan picked up the win in relief. Sok-man Chung took the loss for Chicago. The loss lowers the Chicago record to 6-9.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 14th. With no one out, Zika hit a slider from Sok-man Chung for a 2-run home run. The Arrows, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"All in all, I thought Ricky pitched a fine game for us tonight," said Seattle manager Dr. Jay Siber.
