The Chicago Phantoms racked up a win at Foster Field, bumping off the Vancouver Wolves, 6-4. Juzo Matsumoto, who started for Chicago, pitched effectively for his team. The Wolves are now 5-11.

Greg Wozniak was 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs for Chicago. The six-time All-Star had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a 2-run single off Danny Rangel. It was his 14th hit of the season.
