Toros Win Nail-Biter, 6-5
|
Minneapolis left fielder Salvador Aguilera had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Aguilera hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3, even as Tucson beat the Vikings, 6-5. The Toros, now 10-4, have played inspired baseball.
The Toros got a clutch hit from shortstop Graham Morgan. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Toros.
"It's great when the crowd goes berserk," Morgan said.
