Aces Post 5-1 Win Over Vancouver
The Las Vegas Aces went home winners at Fox-Chong Park, thanks in large part to starter Gerald Blackman. Blackman stifled the Vancouver Wolves, enabling Las Vegas to grab the 5-1 win. The Aces, now 10-5, have been red hot.

Las Vegas used a well-timed hit by Eddie Buitrago to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Aces ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Blackman.
