Vancouver pitcher Junichiro Kitajima had a large part in his team subduing the Las Vegas Aces, 5-1. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. In 7.2 innings, Kitajima surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 0. He allowed 1 run. The Aces fall to 6-8 and continue their rocky start to the 2078 season.
