Senators Get One-Run Win at Cincinnati
The Washington Senators defeated the Cincinnati Twins, 4-3, in part because of center fielder Danny Mrazek. Mrazek was 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks for the Senators. Washington, now 8-5, has gotten their season off to a good start.

The Senators got a gift in the top of the fifth inning, when they were leading 3-1. With two out and the bases loaded, Zheng-ze Gu reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run. It made the score 4-1, Washington.

Mrazek attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
