Spectres Lose By a Run at Havana
Jeong Lee, despite pitching well, was dismayed with the outcome: a hard-fought, 3-2 Philadelphia Spectres defeat at the hands of the Havana Metropolitanos at Estadio Latinoamericano. Havana reliever Steve Grantham picked up the win to move to 1-0. Jeong Lee suffered the loss. The Spectres, now 4-9, continue their poor start.

Mario Murillo, who is tied for 3rd in the EC in runs scored with 11, chipped in a solo home run for Havana in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.

"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Murillo.
